BOARD & TRAIN

Training takes place in the trainer's home

We offer various different packages:
-
2-week Puppy Jump Start - to help with potty training, crate training, marker training, boundaries, confidence building, socialization, environmental exposure, proper play, etc., laying a foundation so you can continue to build from there.

3-week Basic Obedience - working on basic commands, marker training, confidence building, socialization, environmental exposure, any behavioral issues like reactivity or aggression, leash manners, structured play time, boundaries in the home, on-leash recall in low distraction environments, etc. All training is performed ON-leash.

5-week Advanced Obedience - everything included in the basic obedience package above PLUS more advanced obedience commands, e-collar training, recall around heavier distractions, etc. All training is performed OFF-leash.

You will learn proper handling techniques, so you can continue to keep up with their training at home.
Laying a solid obedience foundation implementing boundaries, and building confidence. Potty training, crate training, as well as teaching the fundamentals of luring, markers and rewards.

Basic commands like sit, down, come, heel, wait and place in low-medium distraction settings. Leash manners; behavior modification, structured play; all training is done on-leash.

All the basic commands plus a solid recall, and e-collar training (includes your own e-collar system). Training is proofed off-leash, in heavy distraction environments. ​​

Whether it's reactivity, aggression, or something else, we will address the specific issue you are struggling with, and work to modify or resolve it, while creating healthier behaviors and educate you to ensure you and your pups ongoing success.​​​​​​
We will evaluate your dog and discuss your goals in more detail during an initial evaluation, as not all dogs are good candidates for this work. Also includes advice on puppy selection, if you are planning on getting a new pup specifically for this work.​​​
Cynthia has not failed to surprise me, she is an amazing trainer all around I discovered Cynthia through a buddy of mine, I took my Dogo (Molly) she is six months old currently to her puppy boarding school and I was nervous at first but every dollar was worth it before my Dogo was trained she had no manners. She jumped on the couches, jumped on people, bit people and listened to no commands hard to take anywhere and only went to the bathroom in her crate which was my fault for not having her on a schedule. when I got her back she was a completely different dog. She listened to every command had manners stopped jumping on people. She has yet to bite anybody And is so much calmer I can take her anywhere with me and she only goes to the bathroom where I tell her to, Very exciting stuff. I plan on continuing training with Cynthia. I 100% recommend anyone with an untrained dog to go to Cynthia!

We just got our 5 months old German shepherd/cattle dog mix puppy, she has a great personality but she is full of energy and super distracted. Our main concern is obedience since we have a cat at home as well. We searched and met with different great trainers but none of them felt quiet right for 'Subi' until we met with Cynthia. She took our puppy for 2 weeks boarding training and the results were amazing. Upon picking her up, we had a training session where Cynthia showed us what she worked on and we loved it!
